PROBLEM
I can't get the music files from the folder my stuff on my LG shine in to mp3 bit. I can play them from my phone to my computer just not the other way round. Please help It's doing my head in. xx Thanks
SOLUTION
- Hey, I have the LG Shine in pink aswell and it is compatible with Windows Vista. When you purchase the phone there should be a CD that comes with it to install a program called LG PC Suite. You must install that. After it will install the Wizard thing for the USB. You cannot have the phone connected to it and the computer when you are installing this. When you are done, you can connect the phone to the USB cord and leave the phone on. Open up the new LG PC Suite program and it will search for a conncetion.
- You ppl are weird. In settings you have a menu for usb connections(on your phone settings(menu9)), you select mass media, or mass data, or whatever it says...
When you plug it into your PC via usb, the phone is recognized as a removable disk..You just put files on it, and it automatically sorts them according their format... Simple, just plain old drag and drop...

If you don't have your phone switched over to Mass Storage instead of Music Sync it won't work. When you connect your phone and it says connecting with Music Sync, disconnect and go to settings on your main menu. Got to Connections and change USB Connection from Music Sync to Mass Storage by selecting Mass Storage. Note also that if you don't have a SD card in your phone, your phone may automatically disconnect when you connect or come up asking for a disk or cd. You must have SD storage to put music on your phone.
That should solve your problems.
