PROBLEM
I can only hear people talking when I have the Pearl on speaker
SOLUTION
- Blackberry Pearl : can not turn off speaker phone. Have to receive call only on the speaker or else I can not hear them talk.
- Pearl's speaker volume is generally pretty low, but quite OK for a reasonably quiet room. Make sure you press the 'P' key to turn on the speaker phone. You will get an icon in the display window which indicates it. Also, of course, make sure you turn the volume all the way using the keys on the side. Watch the volume slider icon to make sure it's all the way up.
